Elan Valley Walk
Route #40
|
The Elan Valley is famous as the source of Birmingham's water. The series
of dams on the Elan river was built in the late nineteeth century, and,
when full, the reservoirs are attractive features in an already impressive
landscape. Our walk is mostly easy going on paths and tracks alongside
the reservoirs and through oak woodland, with stretches of open heather
moorland.
Refreshments Café at Visitor Centre, at start/finish of walk.
