Doethie Valley Walk
Route #35
|
Easy tracks and paths through grassy uplands, starting from the remote
Soar-y-mynydd chapel with an easy climb and an optional detour to the
summit of Pen y Gurnos (456m). The walk then follows a delightful path
down into the Doethie valley, and follows the Doethie upstream for 2 miles,
before returning on a straightforward track.
Can be combined with a visit to Tregaron (street market on alternate
Tuesdays) or to the new bird hide at Cors Caron.
