Precipice Walk Route #26
|
The Precipice is actually an escarpment - Tarren Bwlch-gywn - and not
as precarious as it sounds - though it is a truly spectacular place for
a coffee-break. The walk includes sections of Glyndwr's Way and
the Cambrian Way, mostly on tracks and small paths across high
moorland. Long Option is an excellent (but fairly tough) alternative
finish to the walk, involving an unusual route up Plynlimon; it is not
suitable for inexperienced walkers.
