for a brief guide
Pumlumon Fawr is the highest point of the Plynlimon mountains. This walk
is a scenic and little-known route up Pumlumon Fawr from Nant-y-Moch reservoir.
Easy going underfoot on tracks and short grass. Most of the ascent is
gradual, but there are two short, fairly steep climbs. From the top you
will have a wonderful view of nearly all the Welsh mountains.
There is a Hillscape
geocache near this route.
