Craig-y-pistyll Walk
Route #22
|
Craig-y-pistyll is a huge cliff at the head of the valley of the river Leri, below which flows a fine waterfall, hidden except from the narrow path which crosses the foot of the crags; our walk includes this path - one of the most scenic in Mid Wales. The remainder of the route follows easy paths and tracks, mostly in attractive open upland terrain, and includes the descent of the old tramway incline at the top of the Cyneiniog valley, and a walk along part of the Plynlimon and Hafan trackbed.
