Lead Mines Walk
Route #21

A walk which passes the remains of two 18th century lead mines at Cwmerfyn and Cwmsymlog. Easy walking along paths, old tracks, and quiet lanes, with good, open views most of the way. Returning along an old leat constructed to carry water to power the mining machinery.
Refreshments Café at Start/Finish.

Can be combined with a visit to the Llywernog Mining Museum, which is near to the start of the walk.

The Spirit of the Miners website is full of information about the lead-mines in this area
