Craig Lan-las Walk
Route #8
|
Craig Lan-las is the highest point of a small area of moorland which
only became accessible for walkers in 2005, when the open-access provisions
of the CRoW Act 2000 came into force in Wales. Our walk starts on paths
and tracks through Maenarthur woods and the Hafod estate, then climbs
up to the summit of Craig Lan-las, which has wonderful panoramic views.
The route returns across the rough sheep grazing land of Rhos-y-gell with
yet more wonderful views, and through Maenarthur woods.
