A Virtual Walk in Mid Wales

The Ystwyth Gorge Walk begins at Blaen-y-ddôl, home of Hillscape Walking Holidays, and is one of the choice of forty routes available to Hillscape guests. Most of the route is within the attractive and varied woodland of Coed Maenarthur, which is managed by Forest Enterprise. Despite the woodland setting, the walk offers some wonderful views of the Ystwyth valley and Cambrian Mountains.

Walkers are provided with detailed instructions for following the route, as well as a map - usually Ordnance Survey - with the route marked on. To avoid infringing Ordnance Survey copyright on our website, the map used in our Virtual Walk is based on an orienteering map, prepared directly from air photos and ground survey.
