Prices
Our standard holiday package is a 6-day break, arriving
on Sunday afternoon, and departing on Saturday morning.
We are happy to accept bookings for less than 6 days,
provided they do not include a Saturday night; these are charged
at the daily rate.

Our daily rate includes bed and breakfast,
afternoon tea and evening meal, plus the loan of our walks
leaflets.
The special 6-day holiday from Sunday to Saturday
also includes packed lunches except on the day of departure.

If there's anything you're not sure about, or if you'd
like to check our up-to-the-minute vacancies before sending
the form, or if you'd like to talk to us about any aspect

When we receive your Electronic Booking Form, we will
check that the accommodation you require is still available,
and inform you by e-mail. If the accommodation is available,
the e-mail will say that we have made a provisional reservation
for you, and will include the information you need to
pay your deposit.
To confirm your booking, you'll need to send us a deposit
of £75 per person (or the value of the holiday
if less than £75) within 7 days.

A full acknowledgment of your booking, including travel
directions and other practical details, will be sent on
receipt of the correct deposit.

Booking Conditions
1. Deposits are non-returnable.
2. No contract exists between us until the correct deposit
for your party has been paid. If we do not receive the correct
deposit within 7 days, we reserve the right to deem the reservation
lapsed, and to re-let any accommodation without further notice.
3. The balance due on your holiday will be shown
in our booking acknowledgment, and need not be paid until you arrive.
4. If you have to shorten your stay, the original
sum remains payable.
5. Cancellation. If you give us more than 28 days'
notice, you may transfer your deposit to another period within the
same year, subject to availability; there is a transfer charge of
£20 per person.
Other Information

Please note that discounts apply only to
bookings for 6 or more nights, and that only one of these
discount types can be applied to any one booking.
Return Bookings. 10%
if any member of the party has stayed for 6 or more nights
previously.
Group Bookings. 10% for
groups of 5 or more.
Hillscape Link. 10% if
any member of the party is a member of a Hillscape Link
walking group (i.e. a local walking group or club which
maintains an internet link to our website). If you think
your walking club would be interested in having a Hillscape
Link, please contact us.
Children. 10% for children
aged 10-15.

Environmental Policy. Hillscape has achieved the Green
Dragon Level 2 Environmental Standard.

Public Transport. Aberystwyth is easily reached by train
or coach. We are happy to arrange taxis between Aberystwyth
and Blaen-y-ddôl on request. There is a bus service between Aberystwyth
and Pontrhydygroes (not Sundays). We can usually arrange to collect
guests from Aberystwyth at a cost of £15 per journey.
Single bookings. We have one single room for which we make
no extra charge. A 20% supplement is payable by single guests occupying
a double or twin-bedded room.
Children. Our holidays are not suitable for children under
10 years of age. Children aged 10 to 15 must be accompanied by an
adult.
Smoking. For the comfort of our other guests, smoking is
not allowed anywhere inside the house.
Welsh Kite Trust. Hillscape will make a donation of £10
to the Welsh
Kite Trust for each individual booking for a holiday of
6 nights or more received from a member of the Trust who has not
stayed with us before.
