Ceredigion Coast 360° panorama (80Kb)

The Ceredigion Coast Path is a sixty-mile linear route linking the northern end of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path with the southern end of Snowdonia National Park. It runs the length of the county of Ceredigion, from the Teifi estuary at Cardigan to the Dyfi estuary at Ynyslas.

The panorama starts looking north-west, where Bardsey Island (Ynys Enlli) can be faintly seen above the gorse bush, with the mountains of the Lleyn peninsula further right, and then the Cardigan Bay coast stetching away towards Harlech. At the nearer end of that coast are the white buildings of Aberdyfi. To the right of the dog, above the farmhouse, are hills of the north Ceredigion uplands. As the sea comes into view again, you can glimpse Sarn Cynfelyn - a tidal shingle bank which leads, according to Welsh legend, to an underwater kingdom. Above that, the Ceredigion coast stretches away towards Strumble Head in Pembrokeshire.
