Hillscape provides self-guided walking holidays, incuding guest-house accommodation, and a choice of 40 walking routes.
Guests follow our routes by reading specially prepared text instructions and a map. We are able to provide enlarged versions for visually impaired guests.
Around a third of the routes start and finish at the accommodation base.
Our routes generally follow public rights of way, which are maintained by landowners and by local authorities. All the routes include stiles and moderate slopes; some routes include steep slopes or cross rough terrain.
Our accommodation can only be booked as part of a walking holiday package.
Access to the main entrance of the guest house is up one step.
All bedrooms are on the first floor; there is no lift.
We are very pleased to accommodate guests with guide dogs.
The town of Aberystwyth is served by rail and express coach services, and we can collect guests from there, for a small additional charge.
The nearest bus stop to our guest house is 2 miles away.
